History
Integral procedures for investigation, assessment and remediation of accumulated groundwater damages were developed within the 5th RTD-project INCORE, 2000-03. INCORE - Integrated Concept for Groundwater Remediation (Lead partner: Umweltwitrshaft GMBH, Stuttgart, Germany)
MAGIC project will not overlap in any field with finished research project INCORE. In MAGIC project the methodology created in INCORE will be improved and implemented within CADSES area, with the strongest impact on know-how transfer to CADSES countries newly accessed to EU. Unlike INCORE, MAGIC will not aim at research, but rather at implementation of methodology. This will be done by performing 4 pilot projects demonstrating the implementation in 3 countries as well as by transnational co-operation in order to achieve transnational added value for wider CADSES area.
